So in this article I am going to discuss about What Healthy Food To Eat, in other words what are the healthy foods to eat. There is so much information about “healthy foods” that even I am often confused about what I should eat.

Before I go into specifics, I want make sure You understand one thing…

…the only person that can say what is better food to eat is YOU!

Now, what I mean by that is:

  1. Food is personal – what is healthy for one might not be as healthy to other
  2. You can analyze how You feel after that food – if energized and focused, then its healthy!


Key to Health is in the Vegetables…

…vegetables are the healthiest foods in the planet. They are very low in calorie and at the same time very high in nutrients, vitamins, minerals, protein, and one of the best source for fiber.

Vegetables should be the main part of each meal. I even try to make them majority in my smoothies. They are so delicious and I feel so good after eating them. Plus, it is basically impossible to overeat vegetables (L)

Here is extremely simple step to make vegetables taste irresistibly good – add pure HERBS and SPICES!!! They will not only flavor your food, that will make it healthier and increase the benefit of your food. Use herbs and spices like…

  • Turmeric/ Curry
  • Cloves
  • Chilly
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Nutmeg
  • Saphron
  • Cardamom
  • Cinnamon
  • Ginger.

Now, although these are extremely good for you I don’t recommend you using spices that are already combined like potato condiment and meat and chicken condiments, because they are usually high in sodium and sometimes even contain artificial condiments.

As long as you use herbs and spices that are one ingredient and natural they will have a major benefit to your health!

To Sum Up, Eat lots of vegetables (all of them are good and variety is the best) and make your foods irresistibly good with natural herbs and spices that will make them even healthier.


When You Crave For Sweets…

Easy thing would be to say: eat a fruit instead. But for me, it usually ends me eating the fruit and straight after that a pig portion of the sweet I craved for.

So, just eating a fruit is not an option 🙂

First of all, lets discuss why you have this craving. The MAIN reason why we have sugar cravings is that we have been eating too much sugar, salt or artificial flavors. These three are the biggest reason why you want to eat that amazing chewy chocolate brownie.

Secondly, if what I described above is true, then don’t eat anything, just drink water! If you still have craving after half an hour, you can eat a big pile of vegetables 🙂 or if you want a plate full of real food 🙂

Additionally, I would like to point out that, I sometimes have craving for a dessert after a meal. In such case, I recommend you take teaspoon of peanut butter or eat a handful of your favorite berries (without any additional sweeteners) or for me a small cup of cappuccino helps amazingly too.

Conclusion, when you have a craving it means you haven’t been eating purely. The best solution is to drink lots of water and start eating healthy. When you want something sweet after a meal, then eat teaspoon of nut butter, drink a cup of coffee or eat handful of berries.

Eat A Portion of Healthy Protein with each food…

Healthy proteins are for example…


…beans and chick peas

…nuts and seeds

…whole grains (like oats or couscous)

…lean meats (although, don’t eat big and organic is best)

…and eggs.

As you can see from the list, I am not a vegetarian yet 🙂 This is one big discussion topic, let me know in the comments below, do you agree that eating lean meat is healthy 🙂

Back to proteins, they are vital part of each meal because thy help you feel full, free from cravings and keep you satisfied. I am convinced that you should test which proteins work for you the best.

For example, I am not a fan of beans. I just don’t like the way they taste and most of the time, the way I feel after eating them. When I eat small amount and rarely, they are good but regularly not so good.

So choose the protein source you like and test others, to bring variety in your diet.

To Sum Up, each meal should consist of two things: vegetables and a portion of healthy protein.


What Healthy Food to Eat? Eat A Smoothie 🙂

Yeah, that’ right. Eat a smoothie covered with oats and

What should a healthy smoothie contain?

Fruits and/ or berries of course but in addition to that vegetables, healthy fats (like seeds, nuts or a butter of those). And I like to eat my smoothie from a bowl. I also like to cover it with oats – my source of protein there.

Smoothies are a great meal especially, when you know you have eaten too much and you want a meal but not as heavy as a regular meal would be.

Conclusion, you can replace a meal with smoothie. Self made are the best, because you can add vegetables (like spinach, celery, carrots etc.) healthy fats and some protein to your smoothie.



Healthy Foods are those that consist of vegetables and a portion of healthy protein. You know you been eating healthy, when you don’t have sugar cravings 🙂 And when you do have a craving, handle it with water and eating healthy from the moment on. Also, when you want a healthy meal but smaller portion you could eat a smoothie instead.
